Laguna de Calderón
This lagoon is one of the richest protected areas of the municipality and, in turn, the largest of the Endorheic Complex of Lantejuela, with an area of 141.5 ha, and the only one that had water contributions from a water course. The high salinity that characterizes its waters constitutes one of the most striking values of the endorheic complex because it causes the colonization of highly specialized species, of very restricted distribution, such as the aquatic macrophyte Althenia Orientalis.
